Website receives praise from a high ranking BBC figure.

The website of Sittingbourne and Sheppey MP Derek Wyatt has received praise from a high ranking BBC figure.

James Cridland, head of Future Media and Technology at BBC Audio and Music Interactive, was so impressed with Mr Wyatt's use of the internet that he wrote a blog about him on his own site.

The two met after a debate about the future of digital broadcasting at the Houses of Parliament.
Despite initial scepticism Mr Headland was soon won over when he learned about derekwyatt.co.uk and derek.wyatt.tv which feature many videos Mr Wyatt has shot himself and make use of Google maps and other interactive features.

In the blog entitled Leam From This Man, Mr Cridland says he was amazed by what the MP has been able to do.

Mr Wyatt's website has picked up many awards including most recently from the British Computer Society last November.
