Fidelity International provides investment management services including mutual funds, pension management and fund platforms to private and institutional investors.


Challenge


Managing the communications flow between multiple parties is tedious at the best of times, and it becomes increasingly more difficult within larger organisations where staff are located on multiple sites. Fidelity had various workflows involving the completion of forms, requests etc which then needed to be authorised and checked by a number of parties and wanted to standardise and simply the process.


Solution


We managed to built our workflow solution into a number of existing systems such as, IT support requests, expense claims, travel bookings and e-procurement etc. Making sure that a pre-determined process is adhered to, removing unnecessary elements and reducing errors in data capture with validation of input data to try and prevent rejections further along in the process.

We also provided backup or secondary authorising signatures for holiday relief, sped up the authorisation process, allowed users to monitor the progress of their application, claim etc and allowed for reporting on data in progress as well as completed data.
